Liberty Professionals captain, Nathaniel Paul Kwame has revealed the toughest striker he has ever faced in the Ghana league.
The central defender has played most of his domestic football with the Scientific Soccer Lads having gone through their youth system up to the senior level.
He had his full premier league season in the 2019/20 season and facing former Kotoko striker, Kwame Poku is a challenge well spoken defender describe as “tough.”
Nathaniel Paul Kwame spoke to Accra based media house, Radio Gold.
“At that time Kotoko had Kwame Poku, it was really tough, really really tough, he is a very strong guy.
“I’m someone if I don’t know you I just read you a bit so I went the first time and he used his body on me so I was like no, this guy is very strong.
“So all I have to do is just stay at his back and just do thing simple.
“I did that and the coach told me that I shouldn’t rush because he is more experienced than me
“I coped very well but it was really tough, when I got home I was really exhausted.” Nathaniel Paul Kwame told Radio Gold Sports.
The 25-year-old Kwame made his debut for Liberty against Hearts of Oak in the truncated 2018 Ghana Premier League where he notched an equalizer in their 1-1 draw.
