Liberty Professionals captain, Nathaniel Kwame Paul has revealed how he rejected three transfer deal on the local scene.
The central defender has played most of his domestic football with the Scientific Soccer Lads having gone through their youth system up to the senior level.
He had his full premier league season in the 2019/20 season which was truncated because of the Anas Expose.
Kwame tells Radio Gold Sports about some clubs sought his services but he had to turn them down after considering certain factors.
“I think Berekum Chelsea and when we played the Super Cup and won it.
“I think Tamale City but they came at the last minute when the transfer window was about closing.
“And Kotoku Royals also came but sometimes it is just not about playing, sometimes you have to think about your welfare. Hen an offer is right why not.
“Because it is a premier league club, let me just go in and not have that sound mind to play.
“Because sometimes when they call you, we are trying to give you and opportunity and I’m like if you want me just give me a good offer but don’t make it feel like because I’m in Division One so you will give me anything and say that we are trying to make you, no.” Nathaniel Kwame Paul told Radio Gold Sports.
