Tanzania club, Simba SC are reportedly set to sign former Ghana Premier League star, Victorien Adebayor when he leaves Morocco club, RS Berkane.
The 26-year-old joined the Botola League outfit from Nigerien club, USGN for a reported of $100,000 in 2022.
The camp of the Nigerien all-time top scorer are waiting for the right offer from clubs across the continent or abroad before confirming his next destination.
RS Berkane have no plans of renewing the contract of Adebayor when it expires at the end of the term.
Several clubs including Simba SC, Al Hilal, TP Mazembe and Al Ittihad have been tipped to land the skillful forward as they keep monitoring the situation.
According African football journalist Micky Junior, Simba are expected to meet the representatives of the Nigerien star.
Adebayor has previously played for Ghanaian clubs, Inter Allies and Legon Cities before having stints in Denmark with HB Koege.
He has also played for AS Douanes of Niger plus a loan stint at ENPPI of Egypt.
