Reports reaching Africa-foot.com indicate that German second tier club, Ingolstadt have terminated the contract of Ghana midfielder, Hans Nunoo Sarpei.
The 24-year-old has struggled to find his feet in Germany where he started with VFB Stuttgart after joining them from Ghana side, Liberty Professionals in 2016.
Sarpei’s lack of game time at Stuttgart pushed him for a loan spell at Slovakian outfit, FK Senica, German second tier, Greuther Furth before the latter regularized his stay.
He failed to live up to the billing at Greuther Furth between 2019 and 2022 – taking him to Bundesliga 2 club, Ingolstadt in 2022.
The report says Ingolstadt have not been impressed with the work rate and the general output of Sarpei leading the termination of his contract.
Sarpei is the nephew of former Ghana defender, Hans Adu Sarpei.
