Hearts of Oak have officially parted ways with assistant coach, David Ocloo on mutual grounds.
He joined Hearts of Oak in October 2022 as assistant coach to Serbian coach Slavko Matic for the 2022/23 season after the sacking of Samuel Boadu’s led technical team.
However, Ocloo was announced as interim coach of Hearts of Oak following the club’s decision to terminate their contract with Slavko Matic over an uninspiring performance in the Premier League.
He guided Hearts of Oak to finish 12th position on the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League log, escaping relegation on the final day of the season.
Ocloo previously had stints with West African Football Academy (WAFA), Liberty Professionals, Inter Allies and Asante Kotoko.
Hearts of Oak are yet to appoint a new coach to start their pre-season exercise.
