Ghanaian Champions, Medeama Sporting Club lost narrowly to Togolese Champions, ASKO de Kara on Friday at the Glow Lamp Academy Park, Abreshia, Cape Coast as part preparation for both teams ahead of the CAF Inter-club competitions.
Medeama SC held their own in the first half to a goalless draw but lost steam as revamped ASKO de Kara secured a solitary lead to secure the win.
The Mauve and Yellows are now beaten twice in a row in friendlies against Nations Football Club and now ASKO de Kara.
Nations FC thumped Medeama 3-2 a day earlier before Friday’s defeat to Kara.
Medeama will host Nigeria’s Remo Stars on August 18, 2023 at the Cape Coast Stadium for the first leg of the CAF Champions League Preliminary stage.
