West Africa Football Academy midfielder, Michael Kyei Dwamena has tipped Kotoko coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum to succeed at the club and at any national team assignment.
Ogum is making a return to Kotoko – a club he guided to the domestic top flight title in the 2021/22 season.
Michael Dwamena worked under Ogum at WAFA and the 23-year-old believes the University of Cape Coast lecturer has the wherewithal to propel the Porcupine Warrior to greater heights.
The 45-year-old trainer will be unveiled on Monday, August 7 in Kumasi and Dwamena had this to say about his former manager.
Eric Bekoe spoke to Radio Gold Sports.
“I have told him before because I usually go to his office, we sit down and talk like friends and families. That’s the kind of relationship I have with him.
“He wouldn’t hesitate to let you know who you are and what you are doing and this is the type of person we want in the country.
“I think when he gets that opportunity the country will see for itself.” Michael Dwamen told Radio Gold Sports.
Several media reports have linked Michael Dwamena to Asante Kotoko but the record Ghana Premier League holders are yet to officially state the position on the news.
