Former Asante Kotoko striker, Eric Bekoe has urged the club to put in proper preparation ahead of next season’s BetPawa Premier League.
The Porcupine Warriors are in Beposo preparing ahead of next term which starts in September with an opener against newly promoted side, Hearts of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The record Ghana Premier League holders will be led by Prosper Narteh Ogum and Bekoe says they must be in the best of shapes to compete well.
“It is all about preparation, life is all about preparation and when that preparation meets favour, it makes it very loud and then very ceremonial.
“No matter how you are, no matter who you, if you don’t have good preparation when the battle is set now you realize that I should have got the right preparation.
“All the clubs they have to get the right preparation and then know the model of their club, what is the model of the club?
“Is it result oriented or is it the Arsenal type that when Arsene Wenger was there they prepare players, sustain them and sell them?
“Or Kotoko being result oriented where even to choose a coach or to pick players, you need to be very specific on the kind of players that you are going to bring because it is not a place to experiment, that place is for the big guys.” Eric Bekoe told Radio Gold Sports.
