Ghanaian youngster Daniel Owusu has completed his loan switch to Austrian 2. Liga side SKU Amstetten from parent club Red Bull Salzburg in this ongoing transfer window.
The talented attacking wide-man, who spent last season on loan at fellow lower-tier side First Vienna FC, has again been farmed to his current suitors for the 2023-24 football campaign.
“Daniel Owusu has already played 3 times in the 2nd division with FC Liefering, SV Horn and most recently First Vienna FC, making 30 appearances, 4 goals and 2 assists.
As with his last stop at Vienna, the man from Ghana is coming to Amstetten as a cooperation player from Red Bull Salzburg,” a statement over his signing read.
Club manager Jochen Fallmann spoke highly of his newly signed winger to the club’s official website: “Daniel is equipped with an enormous amount of speed, which we don’t have in this position. He can cause a lot of danger both on the wing and in the tip.” We wish Daniel every success with us in the Mostviertel!”
Owusu is yet to earn his international cap with Ghana.
