Asante Kotoko’s Technical Director, James Kwesi Appiah has expressed delight and hope in the club’s preparations ahead of next season’s BetPawa Premier League.
The former Black Stars coach is a member of the club’s Interim Management Committee tasked to steer affairs for the next three years.
Appiah, a former player of the club will assist head coach, Prosper Narteh Ogum with technical duties.
Kwesi Appiah said: “I have seen the aggressiveness during the training and I am impressed,” the former Black Stars coach told the club website.
“However, we are looking forward to seeing it in matches. We have total belief in you and we hope that you end the season very well,” he added.
The record Ghana Premier League holders have strengthened their set up with Andrews Ntim, Nanabayin Amoah and Yahaya Dawuni.
The Porcupine Warriors will open their 2023/24 Ghana football season with a home game against Heart of Lions at the Baba Yara Stadium.
The new football season will kick off in September.
