Former Medeama midfielder, Joseph Tetteh Zutah says the players must be self-motivated as they prepare to partake in their first ever CAF Champions League.
The Mauve and Yellow will make their debut against another first timers, Remo Stars of Nigeria in the first leg of the preliminary encounter at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, August 20.
Zutah, 28, who captained the side for a period spanning six seasons, spoke to Radio Gold Sports.
“I have been a player before and i have played this competition before and the mere fact that you are playing motivates you to give out your best.
“Because it is out there that you can sell yourself well if you want to move out of the shore of Ghana and test waters outside.
“That is the platform that gives you that mileage so from the players’ point of view, I believe they are well psyched and they don’t even have to wait any promise before they do the job, I believe they will do that.” Joseph Tetteh Zutah told Radio Gold Sports.
