Former Kotoko midfielder, Daniel Nii Adjei has urged Medeama to score more goals against Remo Stars in the first leg of their CAF Champions League encounter to help make the second leg a mere formality.
Medeama will make their debut against the Nigerian club in the first leg at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, August 20 with the reverse fixture a week later.
Daniel Nii Adjei spoke to Radio Gold Sports.
“Playing at home aside from league match, you have to win by a big margin because African champions league sometimes depends on goals.
“Somebody comes to your home and you think you have won maybe by two goals when you travel to their home, the way they will treat you, what they will do to you, it’s not easy.
“So I think they have to win by a big margin of goals so that it can help them and they have to concentrate on the game and they have to relax and play.
“They shouldn’t put much pressure on themselves but they have to relax and build their game so that they score more goals to overcome when they go to Nigeria.” Daniel Nii Adjei told Radio Gold Sports.
