Reports reaching Africa-foot.com from Kumasi indicate that, Asante Kotoko are set to hijack the move of Bechem United’s Kofi Agbesimah to rivals, Hearts of Oak.

Agbesimah is set to undergo medical examination in a bid to sign for the Phobians but the Porcupine Warriors have reportedly joined the chase for the tough central defender to help bolster their squad

The 26-year-old has already agreed terms to join the record Ghana FA Cup holders for the 2023/24 BetPawa Premier League campaign

The Phobians want to tighten the bolts in their defennce with former Legon Cities right-back, Michael Ampadu and left-back, Liventius Arthur, formerly of Tamale City already roped in on a 2-year and 3-year deals respectively

Ampadu on his side has an option to extend his 2-year deal for another season.

The 2000 CAF Champions League winners have equally signed 22-year-old Techiman Eleven Wonders defender, Kelvin Asibey.

Hearts of Oak have announced youngsters, Martin Karikari and Raphael Amponsah all midfielders and winger Evans Adomako from second division club, Asekem fc.

All three have been tied down by the 2000 CAF Champions League winners to a 5-year contract.
