Ghana Women Premier League side, Ampem Darkoa Ladies have praised the Ghana Football Association for a kind gesture extended to the club.
The Ghana FA under the leadership of industrious leader, Kurt Okraku feted and accommodated Ampem Darkoa Ladies in Benin State, Nigeria ahead of their continental campaign.
Ampem Darkoa Ladies defeated their rivals from the Southern Zone, Hasaacas 5-3 on penalty shootouts after the entire minute ended 1-1 at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The victory booked a slot for the West Africa Football Union tournament for the second time running.
The tournament is scheduled to begin on Friday, August 18, 2023 with the winner picking the only CAF Women’s Champions League ticket available to WAFU Zone B set for Cote D’Ivoire.
