Former Arsenal forward, Chuba Akpom has joined Dutch giant, Ajax from Middlesbrough, Nigeriasoccernet.com reports.
The 27-year-old Brit signed a contract that will run until June 30, 2028. Ajax will pay a transfer fee of € 12.3 million to Middlesbrough F.C. This amount can increase to € 14.3 million through variables.

Akpom last season with Boro, scored 29 goals to win the top scorer award, the Player of the season in the Sky Bet Championship among many other individual awards.
Entering into the final year of his contract with the Championship side, Akpom refused to renew his contact and there became a need to find a sell the former Arsenal prodigy.
Ajax finished third in the Dutch Eredivisie in 2022-23, 13 points behind champions and fierce rivals Feyenoord. The acquisition of a player like Akpom who has a total of 106 goals in 309 senior matches will give the campaign this season a real boost.
