Ghana forward, Inaki Williams scored his first goal of the La Liga season on Saturday August 19 for Athletic Bilbao.
The Red and Whites traveled as guests of Osasuna at the Estadio El Sadar in week two of the Spanish top flight campaign.
The 29-year-old as usual was at his best, opening the scoring for the visitors on the 11th minute.
Williams has been in fine form for Bilbao – scoring 10 times and providing 3 assists in 36 appearances last season.
He has now scored his first goal in two La Liga outings so far – paving the way for Raul Garcia on the 84 minutes against Osasuna.
Gorka Guruzeta doubled the tally for Athletic Bilbao nine minutes after Inaki’s opener.
The game ended with 10-men apiece after both clubs incurred marching off orders – Oihan Sancet(Bilbao) and Ezeqiuel Avila(Osasuna).
Bilbao have 3 points from two games after losing their opener to perennial champions, Real Madrid by 2-0 at home.
