French Ligue 1 giants, Olympique Lyon are set to sign talented Ghana forward Ernest Nuamah.
The club has reached a deal to sign the highly-rated youngster from Danish Superliga side FC Nordsjaelland.
Footballghana can report that Ernest Nuamah is travelling to France today for his medical.
It is expected that by Tuesday, the youngster would complete his anticipated transfer to Olympic Lyon.
Before the deal was reached, Ernest Nuamah was a transfer target of several top clubs including PSG, Tottenham, Dortmund, and other English clubs.
Following successful negotiations, Lyon have agreed on a transfer fee with FC Nordsjaelland and also reached personal terms with the talented forward.
In the agreed deal, FC Nordsjaelland will have a percentage in Nuamah’s future sale from Lyon.
This season, Ernest Nuamah has scored five goals in the Danish Superliga where and provided one assist after making five appearances.
At Lyon, he will be following in the footsteps of ex-Black Stars midfielder Michael Essien.
