Hearts of Oak duo, Albert Eonde and Glid Otanga have revealed their admiration for Ghanaian music stars, Shatta Wale and Black Sherif.

The two players have returned to the club’s camp ready to hit the ground running in the next BetPawa Premier League season which starts in September.

The record Ghana FA Cup holders pre-season exercise is under the tutelage of new coach, Martin Koopman and Technical Director, Rene Hiddink, who are all from the Netherlands.

Congolese midfielder, Glid Otanga and Cameroon striker, Albert Eonde who are back from the break, have been talking about their favorite Ghanaian music stars.

When asked about who they are, both players gave a loud shout:

“Heiiiiiii Shatta Wale, yhhhh the king Shatta Wale, Black Sheriff,” Eonde and Otanga exclaimed amidst singing Black Sheriff’s “Kwaku the traveller” song.

“Shatta Wale and Black Sheriff, those are our favorites”

Otanga said: “Me I don’t know how to sing it but I like.”

Both players said they would want to meet Shatta Wale and Black Sherif.

The Phobians have already announced a huge win over lower tier club, Miracle Land FC, beating them 11-1 in a pre-season friendly at the Kpobiman Complex.

They were set to play city rivals, Great Olympics in the Homowo Cup but Olympics pulled out of the game at the eleventh hour.
