Former Ghana Premier League star, Benjamin Bernard Boateng says his preferred destinations if he leaves Egypt will be the Belgium Jupiler League and the French Ligue 1.
The 22-year-old is a player of Ittihad Alexandria of Egypt after joining them from the then Ghana Premier League side, Elmina Sharks, now in Ghana’s Division One.
He was sent on loan to another Egyptian side, Smouha SC for the 2022/23 season where he gathered 27 games, scoring seven times in the process.
The lanky attacking midfielder has a contract with Ittihad Alexandria until 2024 and he hopes to land in Europe sooner.
“The countries I wish play in are Belgium, France. Those are the two countries I would love to start from if I leave Egypt.
“After that if the opportunity comes then we consider the Spanish La Liga and the Italian Serie A.
“So the countries I prefer are Belgium and France.” Benjamin Bernard Boateng told Radio Gold.
