The Ghana Premier League has provided a platform for several Ghanaians and non citizens to launch their way into stardom.
Without mentioning several of those names, the domestic top flight was a springboard for a few like Stephen Appiah and Asamoah Gyan to Europe.
Non citizens like former Togo goalkeeper, Nibombe Wake, Frank Mbella also of Cameroon have also enjoyed the Ghana league.

The player in question is Ivory Coast midfielder, Camara N’guessan who was in Hearts of Oak’s shirt in 2018 after joining the record Ghana FA Cup holders from Nigerien club, AS Douanes.
The 32-year-old left after a season marked by lack of playing time to current champions Medeama SC.
He was back with Douanes for one year before signing for Iraqi outfit, Al Ramadi.
The lanky midfielder has since finished his contract with the club and he is looking forward to joining a club in Ghana for next season’s BetPawa Premier League.
