Belgium international of Ghanaian descent, Jeremy Doku says he knew the English Premier League was built for his style of play.
The winger joined Manchester City from French Ligue 1 club, Rennes for £55.4m.
Last season’s Treble winners have agree a five-year contract with the 21-year-old, who scored 10 goals in 75 Ligue 1 appearances across three seasons.
Doku, 21, has 16 caps for Belgium, has taken the number 11 shirt.
Doku said: “The Premier League is a league that I watch with my dad and brother and before on Sunday evening match of the day.
“And I think it is a league that suits me, it will be a perfect match and I always knew that the Premier League was always made and built for me.
“I played in Belgium, I played in France and I think those were the right steps to prepare me for the Premier League.” Jeremy Doku said.
