Head coach of Medeama SC, Evans Adotey has ruled out any form of pressure ahead of their clash against Remo Stars.
The Ghana Champions are faced with either recording a draw or a win against the Nigeria club in the reverse fixture of the preliminary round CAF Champions League qualifiers.
The second leg is billed for the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikene on Sunday, August 27 with the winner of both legs facing Guinea side, Horoya Athletic Club.
Evans Adotey said: “There is no pressure on me honestly speaking, no pressure at all.
“I have already said I have a goal in my basket already, all that I need is to make sure my players go by my game plan.
“We need to protect the 1-0 lead and make sure if possible we can score.
So I’m not taking it as we are playing away, I’m coming to defend no, I’m here to win.
“I’m not here to defend or go back empty handed, I’m here to win and qualify for the next stage.” Evans Adotey said.
Medeama won the first by a slim margin – beating their opponent 1-0 at the Cape Coast Stadium last week.
