Ex-Ghana defender, John Paintsil has urged Mohammed Kudus to be a team player at West Ham United.
Kudus joined the Hammers for a 5-year deal worth £45 million including add-ons from Dutch giants, Ajax Amsterdam.
John Paintsil, who played for West Ham between 2006 and 2008, cautioned Kudus on Kumasi based Akoma fm.
“Kudus Mohammed shouldn’t focus solely on winning individual awards even though they are important, but I will rather encourage him to do well at West Ham.
“He shouldn’t be about playing at West Ham to win or even think about the African best player award but play well and at the right time, it will come.” John Paintsil told Akoma fm.
