Head coach of Dreams fc, Abdul Karim Zito says he would want to win the 2023 Super Cup to add it to his trophy cabinet.
Zito will lead Dreams against Premier League champions, Medeama for the Champion of Champions at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, September 3 at 3:00pm.
The former Asante Kotoko trainer qualified his club for the second round of the CAF Confederation Cup after claiming the Ghana FA Cup last season.
Zito spoke to Accra based Radio Gold Sports.
“This is the first time I am controlling a game at this level, the Super Cup and I will be very happy to win it because I will add it to my archives.
“I have got a lot of trophies on my CV but I am yet to have this opportunity to play the Champion of Champions so this is a very big opportunity, the club and the players to also add it to their CV.
“So for now we are going to the competition with the objective of winning.” Karim Zito told Radio Gold.
They eliminated Guinea club, Milo fc over two legs with the first leg ending 1-1 at the Lansana Conte Stadium in Guinea and the reverse fixture in Accra producing a 2-1 win for Dreams.
