Head coach of Dreams fc, Abdul Karim Zito says the progression of his side and Medeama SC to the second round of continental football, is a good experience going into their Super Cup clash.
The two sides will face off in the 2023 Champion of Champions at the Cape Coast Stadium on Sunday, September 3 at 3:00pm.
League champions, Medeama qualified for the next round of the CAF Champions League following an edge over Nigeria club, Remo Stars with Dreams fc booking the same slot in the Confederation Cup after kicking out Guinea side, Milo fc over two legs.
Karim Zito says, the respectable feat chalked in continental football will go a long way to help them in the Super Cup.
“A lot of experience for both of us because our players who have never been to or have never played Confederation Cup before in Africa.
“So for now they are briefing the air of importance for qualifying to the next stage.
“I’m using this game on two purposes, one to enhance preparation for our next stage of the Confederation Cup, two to win it and add it to our cups.
“So it is a match of importance for us.” Karim Zito told Radio Gold Sports.
