Ghana striker, Jordan Ayew has set sight on the nation’s qualification for the 2023 Africa Cup competition in Ivory Coast.

The Crystal Palace forward is in head coach, Chris Hughton’s 25-man squad for the final qualifier against Central Africa Republic in Kumasi on Thursday, September 7.

The Black Stars lead group E with 9 points – two better than the visitors from five games and need a draw or a win to progress to the delayed edition of the tournament next year.

Jordan, who has started the English Premier League on a good footing for Palace, spoke to Radio Gold Sports.

“The most important thing is that we should qualify and after we see, the most important thing is [the] qualification.

“We are not yet qualified, the most important thing is for us to qualify and when the time comes, we see.” Jordan Ayew told Radio Gold Sports.

The Black Stars, four time champions are facing a 41-year drought and will eye the most important continental gong under coach Hughton.
