Head coach of Dreams fc, Karim Zito has urged the Black Stars players who have been invited for the final 2023 AFCON qualifier to prove themselves.
Head coach, Chris Hughton will miss the services of Arsenal star, Thomas Partey, Kamaldeen Sulemana of Southampton, Salisu Mohammed of Monaco, Daniel Amartey of Besiktas, Daniel Kofi Kyere of Freiburg, goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott, all through injury
But Karim Zito says it is time for those invited to make it count for the nation in order to qualify for the next competition in Ivory Coast next year.
“It’s another opportunity for those who are going to take over to showcase their talent that they don’t deserve to be on the bench.
“So here the psychological aspect of coaching should come in, psyche them and let them know that this is a big opportunity for you.
“You just put it in their minds that they are as good as those who were there.
“Only 11 players will start and this is a big opportunity to showcase what they have for Ghanaians to see that they don’t deserve to be at the bench.” Karim Zito told Radio Gold Sports.
