The score remained 1-1 moving into the first half break.
Olympique Lyon forward, Ernest Nuamah who joined the fray in the second half scored the second goal on the 87th minutes.
The Black Stars finished group E with 12 points with Angola placing second on 9 points qualifying alongside Ghana.
Central Africa Republic collected 7 points and Madagascar claiming 3 points.
