Ivorian striker Kassim Lemondy Cissé has touched down in Ghana to finalize his move to Hearts of Oak from lower-tier side, Lanfiara Sport.
The 20-year-old, currently plying his trade in the Ivorian division two league, arrived in Ghana on Thursday, September 7, 2023, to complete the transfer, which is reportedly set to cost the Phobians $30,000.
Cissé, who was the top scorer in the Ivorian Ligue 2 during the 2022/23 season, is set to sign a lucrative five-year contract with the Phobians before the transfer window closes on Friday.
This acquisition aligns with Hearts of Oak’s strategy to strengthen their squad for the upcoming 2023/24 league season.
Cissé’s arrival is expected to add significant firepower to Hearts of Oak’s attacking lineup as they prepare for the upcoming league campaign.
In the competition for a spot in the team’s attacking formation, the Ivorian forward will face stiff competition from players like Kashala Wanet, Issah Kukah, Albert Eonde, Obeng Kojo Jnr, and Hamza Issah.
However several reports have it that, Issah Kukah will be joining North Macedonia club, Football Club SHKUP on loan with an option to make the deal permanent.
