Former Ghana international, Jerry Akaminko has said that, the nation’s football needs improvement.

Akaminko, once on the books of premier league returnees, Heart of Lions in the domestic league, spoke to Radio Gold Sports.

“I don’t think if you compare that way it will work, it won’t work because obviously the sort of players that were playing in the league at that time compared to
now, there is a huge difference.

“The maturity of the players then and now, obviously young players.
“But now they are playing at their capacity or level of whatever they will be.

“But I think there should be more room for improvement, We should try to get the league to a certain standard, like we will prepare the players to play in ant standard or level.” Jerry Akaminko told Radio Gold Sports.
