Medeama SC defender, Kofi Asmah says he has learnt a lot of tactics and tricks from the departed Vincent Atinaga.
Atinga left the Mauve and Yellow after deciding against renewing his expired contract with the two time FA Cup winners.
Asmah, who is making a debut in continental football, has partnered both Atinga and Adulai Nurudeen at the heart of central defence and he believes his time with Atinga has helped him sharpen his rough edges.
Kofi Asmah said: “You learn from those who know how play the game so what he taught me has helped shape my career.
“That is what has helped partner Nurudeen Abdulai because he {Vincent Atinga] has partnered myself and Nurudeen and their partnership is the style we also implemented against Horoya.” Kofi Asmah said.
He was a member of the squad that defeated Guinea side, Horoya Athletic Club 3-1 at the Cape Coast Stadium in the first leg of the second preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
