Hearts of Oak midfielder, Abdul Aziz Nurudeen says failure to win the domestic double – the league and the FA Cup will be a disaster on the part of the club.
According to the hardworking defensive midfielder, the club’s Bankroller and Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV has done enough investments to help them win every domestic trophy.
“Our ultimate is to take the league trophy and the FA Cup, if we don’t take it, it’s a total failure.
“Because you can see the work that the Board Chairman has done, bringing new players, gave us the basic commodities that at least a player has to acquire.
“We are all in Kpobiman, we are living good, we are next to the training ground, any time you feel bored, there are other games there, you can go and play.
“So with all these and you don’t take the league or you don’t win it, it’s a total failure, it’s a disaster so that’s our target.” Aziz Nurudeen told Africa-foot.com.
The Phobias defeated Nsoatreman by 1-0 in week 2 of the BetPawa Premier League where Aziz Nurudeen was adjudged the “Man of the Match.”
He opened his season with a second half appearance in the 1-0 loss at Real Tamale United in week at the Aliu Mahama Stadium.
